Recent Projects

  • One client in the food industry needed to track what their competitors and customers were up to. We now provide the client with a weekly current awareness product that helps key staff anticipate change in their industry, so they can protect market share and profit.
  • We gave our client information about the structure of various industries in the Middle East and South America countries so they could identify prospects in NZ and then hit the ground running overseas.
  • A client wanted to establish a business in a new geographical region, but were unsure about whether it was the right move to make. We identified existing competitors and supplied demographic information about potential consumers, as well as describing purchasing decision behaviours before they spent large sums of money.
  • An organisation based in NZ needed to decide which business segments would fit with the current and future service offerings. By looking at their competitors's strategy as well as current and potential customers, the client was able to decide where they should intensify their business development based on solid research.
  • An industry group wanted to discover how social shifts in taste, lifestyle choice, demographics, sustainability and purchasing patterns would shape the demand for new product development. We helped them identify where the opportunities lay, who their typical customer might be, and what the market potential would be.
  • A regional group wanted to increase their range of exported goods to a particular country. We located information on:
    • who was already operating in that country
    • the market share these operators had and their product offering
    • the trends affecting the sale of these products, and
    • the biggest opportunities for the regional group.
    We also located research which described how consumers in that country viewed the regional group's existing range of goods. By providing targeted information, the client could confidently decide on whether to expand its range of goods in that market.
