Recent Projects

  • One client in the food industry needs to track what their competitors and customers are up to. We provide the client with a weekly current awareness product that informs key staff of the movements in their industry.
  • Assistance was provided to a well known New Zealand company, that was wanting to develop sales in Middle Eastern and Latin American countries. This company needed to know the structure of various vertical industries in order for them to hit the ground running and identify prospects.
  • A client wanted to establish a business in a new geographical region. We identified existing competitors, supplied demographic information about potential consumers, plus examined their purchasing decision behaviours.
  • A client in Asia wanted to gain an understanding of the trends that were shaping the use of their products in five Asian countries as well as the United States.
  • An industry group wanted to discover how social shifts in taste, lifestyle choice, demographics, sustainability and purchasing patterns would shape the demand for new product development. We helped them identify where the opportunities lay, who their typcal customer might be, and what the market potential would be.
  • A regional group wanted to increase their range of exported goods to a particular country. We located information on:
    • who was already operating in that country
    • the market share these operators had and their product offering
    • the trends affecting the sale of these products, and
    • the biggest opportunities for the regional group.
    We also located research which described how consumers in that country viewed the regional group's existing range of goods. By providing targeted information, the client could confidently decide on whether to expand its range of goods in that market.
